it needs to be pasted in your js file, outside your onload handlers becoz it already has it's own handler, which is set to load the sidemenu when your content is finished loading

what I meant in my tutorial is that you only need to add the following part to your body { ... }

since most CSS already have their own customized body styles, backgrounds and cursors

body { ... }
