awww.. we're all know you're still upset
I am not upset and I did not get upset.
Well, I kind of saw this one coming, that's why I said that anybody is free to decline a challenge. ^^ Of course, some people still accept challenges and end up getting pissed off and leaving, but... I hope nobody does that here. /:
I hope so too.
Being a sore loser isn't cool.
1. Hmm... it depends. If the FTalk Staff is going to do the 'voting' thread for this battle, then I will leave it up to you to decide on how many battles you can address at a time. I don't mind helping out, but I'll go with whatever your decision is.
I think we can handle a maximum of four battles at a time or prolly more since it's only one on one.
Also, I was thinking and I think we should just have one thread per battle. We don't need to make separate 'entries' thread and 'voting' thread since battles are only one-on-one. So once both the battle participants have their entries ready, then it will be posted in a voting thread. :]
How will we know if their entries are ready if there's no 'entries' thread?
2. It will be just like a contest. Members will vote for the best entry by post. I'm open to ideas though?
100% voting via poll?
orrr.. both parties can decide whether they want to have judges or not.
what about we someone will battle against the currently winning member? example Signature Master will be challenged by someone. And if the latter wins, the Signature Master will get stripped of his title or change to "Former" Signature Master?
I bet the Champions wouldn't risk losing their ranks.

Suggestion:
How about aside from notifying the person you want to challenge thru pm, we should also make a Battle Arena thread in Contest and Event section and the challenger also post the name he/she had challenge so we everyone can check the status of the Battle?
For example:
I formally challenge [username] in a [battle event].
status: [either declined/no reply/accepted]
reason: (if decline)
I formally challenge admin in a hair battle
status: decline
reason: scared
if status has been accepted, we will give them three days (max) to decide on the deadline for the submission of entries and the rules and mechanics of the battle. Moderators will help.
If the status is still "no reply" in one week's time, then the battle will be considered as null and the challenger has to challenge a different person?
