Re: I love boxing, personally, and my favorite boxer is, honestly, Manny Pacquiao. I've been watching his fights for about 5 or 6 years now. Reading up on Pacman is one of the ways I came to like Pilipi
first of all i wanna give my apologize for being disrespectful to your opinion. i have realize that i should not just judge someones opinion as "wrong" just because i have my own opinion. sorry for that and i hope you forgive me... anyway back to the topic..
Oh, yeah, bro...It's all good, no problems. :)
He is not yet use to 135lbs and couple of fight is needed to have 100% of his speed.
I agree that he should get a couple of fights "under his belt" at lightweight before jumping weight class again, especially 2 weight classes. The only problem with that, from Bob Arum's side, though, is that it's a big big big money fight and Oscar is getting "old" (in boxing terms) and wants to retire. For him to wait for Manny to take a couple more fights at lightweight would mean having to postpone his retirement until somewhere around the end of 2009 or early 2010. Oscar probably is not gonna wait that long. Although he is still a very skilled and great fighter, Oscar's overall skills and ability have begun to decline. So if they want that payday, they gotta jump on it now.
