He's from my hometown. I worked in his house back when I used to do construction work. Also, I used to work for a local radio station back in Norfolk, VA and since Sweet Pea is a "local celebrity" he was often at events hosted by the station. He used to be one of my favorite boxers until he got caught up in the cocaine scandals. Anyway, I even have a couple pictures of me and Pernell standing side by side and if I can find the disk that it's on, I'll post it in here. I'm 5-8, and I would guess that he's an inch or two shorter than I am. So yeah, 5-6 sounds about right. A lot of people think he's tall. Hey, good video that you posted too, bro.
