I confess that I broke someone's heart this week through my own [i]insensitivity[/i]. I wish I could say I was sorry, but that would only be self serving, so I'll say it here 
-- I'm sorry I didn't have good boundaries and did play more than my part in letting things go way too fast. 
I'm sorry I needed more than you could give me. I'm sorry I encouraged you to be so vulnerable and trust me so deeply. Most of all, I'm sorry I made promises I couldn't keep before I knew what I know now.
