“W-well…” my eyebrows were narrowed as I shook my head for the nth time around.
“You want me to repeat it?”
I hope I could control my emotions with this guy. I really don’t feel like blowing up, today. Kaya please? Naman o.
“Shut up! I don't care. So please?! Just shut your mouth?!” I gave him a quick punch.
“What's happening here?!”
I heard his voice again. But he was nowhere to be found.

“Ma!” I ran up to her and embraced her. She didn’t embrace me back. Why?
“M-Ma…” I started to cry as I held her shoulders. Her face was blank. It was totally blank.
“I miss you, Ma.” I sobbed and kissed her cheek. She suddenly pulled me back. I made a shocking scream. She narrowed her eyes as she held her hand high.
I watched her disappear.
"NO!!" I screamed as I felt the warmth of someone’s hand, touching my cheek.
“Margaret! It's okay. I'm here.”
I blinked so many times just to clear my vision. But I know it was him. I know his voice.
“Aries…” I blinked again, he was holding my hand, again!
“Aries?!” Yes. Irritated na naman ako.
I tried to pull my hand back and fortunately, I succeeded.
“What happened?” I asked quietly as I glanced at different directions.
I realized we were alone.
“You collapsed. I was alarmed by the–” he yawned for a second then continued, “–saw ohf yohw puhnch and ef…”
I didn't understand what he was actually saying, so I didn't pay much attention. He's probably tired.
After a minute, I found him lying his head on my hips.
“H-Hey…”
I heard him yawn again.
I guess I should not say anything. I slept again.
—–λ—–
“Are they together? They're so sweet. How I wish…”
"Yes. I think they are. I agree with you Lyra, they're sweet."
Huh? Sweet? Sino?

I opened my eyes slowly. At alam niyo ba nakita ko? Ang napakagwapong muka ni Aries. His face was actually two inches away from mine.
I turned my head to the other way and saw the crowd looking straight to us.
“GET OUT!!!”
“H-Huh? What happened?! Why–” he opened his eyes and jumped in shock.
“Ask yourself, bastard!”
Nagsialisan na sila. Tapos nakita ko may mga SJ students din sa labas. I threw the blanket to Aries. Asar talaga. Gusto ko talaga siyang sabunutin. Ginawan niya ako ng issue!
“O, ano? Why don't you tell me? I can't ask myself kasi eh.”
Ang tanga talaga.
“Oh talaga? Ginawan mo kasi TAYO ng bagong issue dito sa buong campus. Nasira na pangalan ko. How can you solve my problem now?” I exclaimed while hitting him with the pillow. Nang-gigigil na talaga ako. Gusto ko siyang suntukin, pasalamat nalang siya medyo nanghihina pa ako.

“I won't solve it, silly. Let them think that we're together. You don't care anyway, right?”
Those words suddenly pierced my heart for no reason.
Answer me, do I really care? Should I care? Should I really, really care about that thing? No, right? NO, because it would be distraction if I would still care.
“Hmm? Why are you–wait, did I just say something that made you startled?” He smirked sheepishly.
“N-No,” I shook my head and held my hair, “I was bothered. I was just thinking of something.”
“Tell me,” He leaned and his face was very close to mine. Not again!
“Tell me,” He said anxiously, “it is David, I wonder where he–” he turned around and said, “Never mind. I'm going. Good luck with your new problem, Margaret.”
—–λ—–
“Eira,” I waved my hand as I saw her running up to the middle of the crowd.
“Margaret!” She said quickly as she made her way out.
“Hello,” I smiled, “What’s that?” At tinuro ko yung papers na hinahawak niya.
“It’s a present for our soon-to-be valedictorian.”
Valedictorian?! I flinched at the word. I knew just what she meant Aries. Hello? I'm still here; still fighting. How could you–
“What are you thinking?” She asked.
“Wow,” I whispered sarcastically, trying to ignore her.
“Margaret! Are you coming?” Sabi ni Ian habang papasok sa clinic.
“Uh… Sure,” I rolled my eyes and started walking.
“Hey! Wait up!”
I turned around, “Why?” Then I saw a group of girls trying to pull her.

“Zaleine’s Bar!!! Seven Sharp!!!”
—–λ—–
I embraced my books so hard.
“I know, Marge. Joining the Taekwondo competition would cost a lot.”
Naman. Bwisit. Ang sarap sapakin ni David.
“Are you a psychic?” I asked without looking at him.
“No, I got used to it. Money matters,” he laughed.
Alam ko naman yun e. Muka akong pera.
“So, I was just thinking… Would it be fine if I shoulder all of those expenses? I mean, willing naman akong gawin yun.”
Sure!
No! Of course not! May pera naman ako eh.
Are you silly, Margaret?! This is a chance.
“Ridiculous loser,” I smirked. Oo, reject yan.
Have you lost your mind, Margaret!? Chance na nga yun e!
Tse! Shut up!
David grabbed me quickly and wrapped his arm around my neck.
I can't–I can't move! After a second, his eyes were on mine.
“Who's the loser now?” He smiled as I was gasping for air.
I closed my eyes slowly. Taena! All you need to do is to breathe. BREATHE.
Finally, he removed his arm.
“I’m sorry. I was just joking and… Sorry, I don’t want you to collapse again because of me. I am sorry.”
I sat and breathed heavily.
“I just can’t face the pain. I already fell, Margaret. And it’s difficult.”
