I quickly hide the paper in my pocket again and wiped my tears. My eyes are all red. Sana hindi niya mahalata. I went in and sit at the back and immidiately look outside the window. I did not speak a word. he may think it's strange but what can i do? "Something wrong?" and yeah. he brokes the silence. "No.. nothing" i answered coldly. "You sure?" why don't you just believe me! "Yes, just tired." "Okay." And he continued driving. We reached home in no time. I run directly to my room. "Your gown is on your bed." i stopped and look down. "okay.. thanks kuya." My mind is in nowhere. I just kept on thinking about that letter. Is it a goodbye? No. He told me to hold on and never let go. But what is that letter all about? Then I remembered how he treated Shayne today. How special he made her feel, more special than me. Then the puzzle in my mind got a new piece. May kinalaman si Shayne dito. Suddenly I heard someone knocking on my door. "Yes?" sagot ko. "It's me. Does the gown fit you?" oh yeah! We have to go to the party. "Hindi ko pa nasusukat. Wait a sec." at kinuha ko yung damit sa kahon. It's a white gown. A long white gown. Dammit! ang hirap isuot! Hays! sa wakas. I looked at the mirror. Tama lang ang sukat. Ang galing palang pumili ng kuya ko. "Are you done?" "Yeah. Tama lang." and he completely opened the door. "You look wonderful!" "Yeah, i know. mana sa kuya eh." "Bola. sige na. maya-maya eh darating na mag-me-make up sayo." "Wait up. Anong costume mo?" "Ako?.. Syempre prince ako. Ako pa. Looks palang, pamatay na!" yabang talaga. After what I've read paano ko siya haharapin? What if hindi nalang kaya ko pumunta? But... hindi, pupunta ako. No matter what I have to. I want to clear things up. I took a shower and went donwstaires. Nandoon na pala mag-me-make up sa akin. So beauty beauty things... then I put my gown on. Well, I'm not that in when it comes to dresses and gowns. I picked up the masked and wore it. "Ang ganda ng kapatid ko aah. Wait ikaw ba yan? Or Alien ka? Ibalik mo kapatid ko!!" over naman `toh eeh. "Baliw, umayos ka nga!" hehe. buti nalang nandito si kuya. At least kahit konti, kahit sandali i can forget about the pain. "Shall we?" nako. ang gwapo ng kuya Aljon ko. Sigurado ako eh magkakandarapa mga girls sa school nito. "It's my pleasure..." at inabot ko yung kamay niya. We headed to the car and my kuya started the engine. Kainis. Ang hirap umupo. Haysss. On the way biglang pumasok sa isip ko si Lester. Bumilis bigla ang tibok ng puso ko. Kinakabahan ako. What should i do? May aircon sa kotse but pinapawisan ako. I didn't let my kuya noticed it until we reached the school. When we entered the gate I was like "Wow" as in. Masyadong prepared yung place. candles sa gilid ng daan. And the tables are decorated. Roses are everywhere. Hinanap ko si Lester. I said goodbye to kuya kasi halos mawala na yung poise ko because of those girls na umaaligid sa kanya. Katulad nga ng naisip ko. Hayss. Naglibot libot ako. I can't find him maybe hindi pa siya nakakarating. I saw Eli, wow, she's with Henry, they look soo good together. I went closer. "Hi besh!" *beso-beso* we greeted each other.. "Ay ang donya ang sosyal ng dating aah." sabi ko. "Syempre. Ikaw nga mukhang reyna ayokong magmukhang alalay noh." haha. nakakatawa talaga `toh. "Loka! Ikaw nga maganda diyan eh. Oh Henry, alagaan mo yang bestfriend ko aah!" sabat ko naman. "Hoy! anong pinagsasasabi mo jan!" at palihim akong kinurot. “Aw.. okay.. I’ll let you two alone.. buh-bye besh.. gudluck!” At nag-disappear na ako sa patingin nila. Haha. I walked around the school. Wala pa naman sila Lester. Haysss. I saw Edward. Wow! Ang gwapo aah! Sobra! Haha. Nakakasilaw ang smile. He’s coming. Uh-oh. “Hey there Ches!” c’mon ches.. say sumthing! “Oh, hey…. Ed..” ano ba yan. Nakaka-speechless naman itong si Edward. “Where’s Lester?” hmm. I dunno.. “He’s not here yet eeh..” “Ahhh. I see.. mind to take a walk with me?” “Ahmmm….” What should I say??? “Don’t worry, I’m not gonna do such a thing again.” “No…it’s not that.. Oh what the heck.. Let’s go? ” “Nice.. You look gorgeous with that gown…” “Well, thank you .. and you look zo dazzling with that get up” “My.. thanks miss beautiful.. ” And we walked, talked, joked, and laugh. I must admit I’m having a great time with him. So much than I’ve expected. We went back and he said that he’s going to the bathroom and get us some drinks too.
