mine is still working fine it records visitors though i didnt update my tracker.php and my configure.php and even the session.php
i use my own dbase in all my profiles...
i just change the ajax function in my tracker.js and whala! my tracker is back on recording. 
sometimes the friendster updates always co-relates with the ajax function working in your js file so i suggest just look where the prob occurs and no need to update everycode you have to make the tracker work again and never messed up with it at all...

try to update it and see the result.
