Ba’t nandito ka?” I asked, truly surprised. “Masama bang dito mag-aral?” That’s when our adviser came and introduced the new student. “I think you are aware of a fresh face in class and I have seen dozens of girls making their way towards this guy… or ‘hunk’ as the girls would consider him. With that, I’ll let him introduce himself. Ok, sige, sabihin mo na rin ‘yung hobbies and interests mo.” Biglang naghiyawan ‘yung girls nung magsasalita na siya. Garsh. The new guy will definitely crush my world. Bakit? Basta. Malalaman niyo rin. “Good morning. My name is Nathan Fortis. I used to study in Singapore but I decided to stay with my relatives here in the Philippines and finish high school. I promise.” Nathan tried to be a bit distant at first pero mukhang nahihirapan talaga siya. Naninibago siguro so by lunch time, he decided to go with me. “Steph, sama muna ako sa’yo.” “Bakit? Ang daming girls na nagkakandarapa sa’yo ah. Sakin ka pa sasama?” “Exactly. Ayoko ng pinagkakaguluhan ako. I don’t like being watched.” “Okay, ‘lika.
