I'm going home,” she walked away and rode a taxi. I looked up, and realized what i've just done. [b]Claraine’s Point Of View[/b] "I don't like her," he looked at me rudely. "Yes you do," I grinned. Yes Clariane, you do like kris. "No." Deny pa siya? Obvious kaya. Ano ako? Tanga? "Yes." "I told you I dont!" he yelled. Napapikit tuloy ako, when I opened my eyes, I realize I was already leaning on the wall. "Do you even know the person I like?!" I suddenly slapped him out of anger. Teka, bakit bigla ko nalang ginawa yun? Am I jealous? I'm not, right? I should not be. "Shut up, Kris." “But I'm not-” “I don't care! I'm going home,” were the last words that popped out from my mouth. [hr] We had our dinner, tapos Manang arranged the table na and placed the evening food. As usual, katabi ko na naman si Kris. And the worse part is, he doesn't talk to me. “Tita, are they any vacant rooms here?” Vacant rooms? Who needs a vacant room? Alam naman niyang magkasama kami sa kwarto e. “Why? Slapping isn't cool. I should have not done it. Everyone was done, except Kris and I. Time flies so 'slow' whenever we don't talk to each other. “I'm sorry. Pero... Wala naman akong ginagawang masama before eh. “I need to sleep. Goodnight,” he forced a smile again and went upstairs. I sighed and headed upstairs. Actually kanina pa ako tapos, I was just finding the right time to say sorry. Pero it seemed to me that, I failed. I saw him entered Kuya Carlo's room, kaya naman pumunta na ako doon. Kaso, the door was locked. I was about to knock, but then I heard him shouting violently. When I say violently, VIOLENTLY. “Will you ever understand my feelings for you?!!!” Or... Maybe not. He's not in the good mood. And it creeped the hell out of me, kaya, next time nalang. Grabe, ang init ng ulo niya. Nakadag-dag pa ata yung sampal ko. >.< I went downstairs and watched the TV. My cellphone rang. I really hate it when people call me in the middle of the night. Kasi naman no, gabing-gabi na. Hindi ba pwedeng ipasantabi muna yan? Nakakainis. “Hello?” “Danica speaking. Tagay tayo. Sama ka.” “Eh? Tinatamad ako ate...” “Carry yan. I'm mad at my boyfriend.” “Naks, bukas nalang.” “Aw? Ngayon na dali. Let's celebrate. Darn it.” Badtrip ba siya? Iba rin trip niya no? Well, we're both mad at 'our' guys naman. Siguro pupunta na rin ako, para naman makapag-refresh ko. I went upstairs to ask permission. “Ma, punta ako kayna Ate Danica. Pleaseeee?” “Sure, just be careful.” I just wonder, ngayon lang `to. Pag-lumalabas kasi ako, lagi kong kasama si Kris. Pero siguro ngayon, hindi na muna mangyayari yun. And I think that's a pretty good thing since, magbubuhos ako ng sama ng loob. Mainly because of him. [hr] When I got there, I called Ate Danica. She opened the door for me at pumasok na ako. I saw a lot of people. Taena, party talaga? I saw Anthony, Myca, Zedrick, Ann, and some people I do not really know. We drank and drank, ate and ate. Then I saw Ann and Myca playing video games. Nako, parang bata. I can say that we were so damn drunk when the clock eventually struck at 1 AM. "Hoy, what's wrong with you boyfriend ba?" "Wala. He's so damn selfish. I hate it." "Oi Danica, akin ka nalang kasi." "Duh?!" "May ganun pala? Ako naman," I grabbed Ate Danica's face, "Look at me. Come onnnn." "Siraaa. How's your life baaa?" "Uh. I don't knowww. All I know is, I'm so damn confused of thos two guysss. I can say they're stupiddd," I looked at the girl on the corner, "Manang isa pa poooo." "Sus ineng, idaan niyo yan sa beer. WOOOHOOO!" "Oo nga," tumawa pa ako, "I'm so tired. Yang Prince na yan. Peste, kailan ba darating yan?" "Alam mo tol, kung ako sayo, kailmutan mo na yan. Dami dyan." "Oo nga. " --- DEAD --- [hr] [b]Kris' Point Of View[/b] I headed upstairs. I was thinking, si Clariane? Nagpapa-sorry? You've got to be kidding me. Hindi ko rin pala alam na ma-pride ako. Totoo naman, I didn't do anything, why should she slap me? I locked the vacant room and kept on throwing the damn pillow. I thought I heard something. When I opened the door, I saw Clariane, heading down stairs. She might have heard it. I'm sorry Clariane, I'm just so confused. I don't know if I could still read the emotions that your face make. I went inside and noticed something. A very old picture. Clariane. I think she was still seven in that picture. Ang cute talaga. And, she's with somebody. A guy, who's very fat. I think ka-age lang niya yun. I also had this feeling na baka this is the boy she kept on talking about. What's his name again? Prince? I threw it on the bed in disgust. [hr] My phone rang and saw Zedrick's name on the caller ID. "Dude, si Clariane..." "What happened?" "She's drunk," he laughed. "Bakit hindi niyo niyaya? Tae kayo. I'll pick her up." "No, on the way na kami eh." "Okay." "I mean, andito na pala. Haha Tae." It disappoints me knowing that Clariane didn't ask me for company. Akala ko tuloy napano na siya. Lasing lang pala. I know the reason why people drink. Maybe... Just maybe, Clariane felt crap when I ignored her apology. I'm so stupid. Zedrick carried Clariane, tapos binigay na niya sakin. Oops. Tae. Bigat niya pala. I never got the chance to stare at her this close. So close. I lay her down on the sofa, and then she opened her eyes slowly, trying to recognize the guy in front of him. She suddenly hugged me and whispered, "Prince, I still love you... I still do..."
