I heard the very annoying sound of the telephone, and of course, the voice of my stupid brother. �Look! You better hear this! It�s ringing!� my brother while jumping on my soft bed. I was too annoyed, so I babbled, �Ouch! Biboy, what the heck? Give me that! It�s early in the morning yet you are being so annoying.� �Hello?" �Clarz is speaking, who is this!? The guy seemed to laugh, �Gee, chill. It�s me, Earl.� �Oh hey, what�s up?� �Nothing, you free? Let�s hang out." �Aw. I just don�t know. Today�s the enrolment of the juniors, later afternoon.� �Dang, I almost forgot. But hey, hanggang 12 nalang. Please? Okay. Love you.� Love you? Is that what I really heard? He�s going �gay-gay� over me, I guess. I went downstairs to eat my breakfast and tell mom that I�m going out with my friends. "Mom, Myca, Earl and I are going to SM to -" "Right. Here�s the money. Be sure you�ll be back before 12. I want you to enjoy the day, okay?" �O�kay? Thanks." It seemed weird. She has a big smile on her face. I�m pretty sure she got good news. I wonder if I would ask. And so I did, �Mom? What�s with the smiley face? Do you have any suitors?� "What in the? I�m faithful to your dad, and you know that. It�s just that I-" �CLARIANE! LET�S GO!� "Oh, Mom. I have to go." I went outside of the house and entered the car. I sighed. I don�t know but I feel worried of my mom. I feel like there�s something going wrong. "Best, is it really windy outside? Here�s the comb. Go comb your hair." Myca said and laughed. "Shut up. You were too early. Hey, where�s Earl?" I looked at the front seat and saw him. He seemed down or mad or whatever. He doesn�t even talk. I guess I have nothing to do with it so; I turned on my iPOD and selected some songs. Now Playing � Friends Forever Gee. Prince never failed to pop out from my mind. I just kept on talking to myself. When are you coming back? When will I see you again? Should I let go? It�s just so hard to get over knowing that I�ve never fell for anybody. Childish memories can�t be erased from my brain. But if you would think of it, it�s not really that bad to dream of him, right? But we were still kids then, like toddlers. No mature minds. I didn�t notice that I already threw the comb and it hit Earl�s head. "I-I am sorry earl." I said softly and looked away. Ugh. It�s the deafening silence. �It�s alright.� "Dude, we�re here! SM! Yessss!� butted Myca who really looked so excited about everything inside the mall. Thank God she has beaten around our bush. �Let�s partyyyyyy,� We all said simultaneously. In fact, that�s our main line whenever we step on the mall�s grounds. We went to the Event Center and we were able to see Sam Concepcion, who was really hot. We also went to Starbucks and took some coffee with us. Then we walked around and tried some cute stuffed toys at Blue Magic. After that, we ended up watching a horror movie in the cinemas. For your information, I was the one who chose the movie. I love horror movies. Time Check: 10:00 AM I was shivering. It was so freaking cold. I wasn�t able to bring my lovely sweater since they came too early at my house. �Myca, please, share me your sweater.� I almost cried. �Are you silly? This is my eye protector. Dang this movie is so scary! We should�ve watched the other movie.� "If you don�t want, then fine." She�s so selfish. Naku, makokotong talaga yan sakin. :x Since I already talked to Myca, I�ll bug Earl this time. But then, his face was so serious. I admit, sometimes he get too scary. His face was so still. Feel ko nga, stone-hearted and bestfriend kong ito pagdating sa horror movies. I felt shy, so I just looked at the screen. The scene was too violent. "E-Earl... " "Yes? You okay?" "Uh. Uh. Yes.� I whispered. "Why? Don�t tell me you feel scared. Are you scared? " �Of course, I�m not. Can I-� He suddenly placed his left arm on my shoulder and pushed me towards his chest. I got shocked.
