CHEMISTRY: You know very well that when a liquid is cooled, its molecules move slower and thus it solidifies. Most solids have higher density than water so they tend to sink in water. One hot day, you put two ice cubes on your soda and you noticed that the cubes floated. Why didn’t the solid cubes sink?
don't generalized that all solids are have a higher
densities.. ice cube is water but in a form
of solid.. right.. those ice cubes are less
denser than water.. for example, when you
put an ice cubes into your water it will
float, right.. so, in your case.. definitely,
that your two ice cubes will be float in your
soda because those
two ice cubes is less denser than soda..
hope you get what i mean..
